Shaken and Stirred Podcast

Education

In our first episode, podcast hosts Melissa Lazinski, Tim Miller, and Mary Blackinton introduce ourselves and the reason we were inspired to create the Shaken & Stirred podcast. We join you from the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at Nova Southeastern University-Tampa, a component of the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences. The mission of our podcast is to foster provocative dialog and discourse about blended learning in professional education among educators, students, clinicians, and consumers in order to ultimately enhance teaching, learning, and research about blended learning. In addition, we hope to investigate best practices, caveats, and administrative policies related to planning, implementing, and evaluating courses.  We hope this “community of inquiry” engages faculty, students, administrators, and the community in discussions that might shake and stir our understanding of blended learning in professional education.   Book Referenced in this podcast:   D.
