Many of my U.K. listeners were taught about the Vietnam war in secondary school. We were taught that it was this epic communism vs freedom struggle of North vs South. And that the Americans were on the side of freedom loving people of the South. As I explain in this podcast, this type of propaganda would make Goebbels blush. The Vietnam war was Vietnam vs neo-colonialism of France and USA.
