Strike indicators (bobber is a much better term) are a highly effective tool in stillwater fly fishing, particularly in the realm of imitating chironomids in both the pupal and larval stage. However! There is most definitely a time and place for them, and there are actually situations in which removing the indicator from the calculation can yield much better results. It's all included in this episode of the Interior Fly Fishing Co. Podcast!Thank you so much for tuning in, and to everyone who entered the Ultimate Stillwater Giveaway. Phil Rowley and I will be going live on Instagram at 8pm PST tonight (Tuesday, April 14) and Thursday to answer any questions you might have. Feel free to fire them off via our story on Instagram.P.S. A very special announcement is taking place at the end of this week!
