Do you wish that time would just speed up a bit? I really want to be present with my kids, to make the most of this time. But I’m also ready to just move on. If you find yourself struggling with that tension too, then today’s episode is for you. I’ll share a simple practice that might help you deal with all the complex emotions you might be feeling right now, and it just might help you become more present with your kids as well.Show Notes:Episode 18: It’s Only a SeasonIf you want to be present with your kids, first learn to be present with yourself. This week’s practice:Take some time to pay attention to how you are feeling. What do you miss? What are you feeling sad about? What do you want right now?Get all of it out, whether that’s through download and writing it all out on paper, or sharing it with a friend. Then, intentionally surrender all of it to God. Imagine physically laying it down in his presence, and ask Him to help you and give you the strength you need to keep going. More Resources:For more resources to help you connect with God in the chaos of motherhood, visit http://www.lindsaysterchi.com/free/.
