When you’re emotionally overwhelmed, how do you pull yourself out of it? We tend to either feel defeated and do nothing, or try really hard to fix ourselves. But neither extreme tends to work. In this episode, we’ll explore that tension, and I’ll provide ideas of small steps you can take that will begin to move you towards wholeness and healing.Show Notes:Adjust your mindset and perspective. 2 Corinthians 3:4-5Episode 16: Do You Want Confidence as a Mom?Be intentional with your input. Add and eliminate.Be creative in finding ways to take a break. This week’s practice:Review the steps we talked about today, and pick just one that you need to focus on.Is it your mindset and perspective that needs to change? Then spend time praying and asking God to show you the lies you are believing, and the truth you can replace it with in your thoughts. Is it the external input that is hurting you? If so, what can you add and remove to fill your mind with better things? Or do you need to get creative in finding ways to take a break and get refreshed? Identify what you need, and then ask for help in figuring out how to get that. More Resources:For more resources to help you connect with God in the chaos of motherhood, visit http://www.lindsaysterchi.com/free/.
