He has extensive experience in production and management, having founded his company, Field Training Services, in 1999, where he trained production staff in good job-site management, debugging production systems, and helped companies develop training programs for their field staff. Up until July 2000, Tim was V.P. of the New Homes division for Hopkins and Porter Construction in Potomac, Maryland, where he started as a Lead Carpenter and then became Production Manager for remodeling. Based on his extensive experience as a lead carpenter, production manager, and homebuilder, Tim has conducted many successful lead carpenter training programs across the country. His book, The Lead Carpenter Handbook: The Complete Hands-on Guide to Successful Job-Site Management was published in November 1998 and since then he has developed audio training for Lead Carpenters as well as a Human Resource Manual for Remodelers. In April of 2017, Tim joined Remodelers Advantage as Senior Consultant and Master of Production.
