This year is the 25th anniversary of the EASD’s Psychosocial Aspects of Diabetes (PSAD) study group. Marking the occasion, the 'Why psychosocial care matters' podcast series will explore important and emerging topics with experts in psychosocial aspects of diabetes. To launch the series, we talk to Professor Frank Snoek, founder and first Chairperson of the study group, about its history and achievements, and the changing profile of psychosocial research in diabetes care.
