Part one of our investigation into Woodes Rogers gets the whole band back together as they look into the exciting life of a surprisingly boring man. Woodes Rogers effectively ends piracy in the Caribbean (Sorry, Johnny Depp) and defeats the Spanish incursions into British colonial holdings almost single-handedly, but he sailed deep into the Pacific as a privateer and rescued a dude that set up the fictional story for every marooned person on a desert island that wasn't eaten by crabs (Sorry, Amelia Earhart). Also, Mike pretends to know when that book came out and is called out on it, because he TOTALLY GUESSES. We're setting the stage for the tumultuous governorship of Woodes in part one.
