WWE Extreme Rules Features Returns, Ring Rigging and Title RetainingPre-show Liv Morgan defeated Carmella The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) defeated Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles and Omos- good starting match. Crowd all up and at it for New Day. Hated the finish with AJ Styles and Bobby Lashley with the miscommunication though I get why they wanted Big E to get the pin on Lashley. The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (c) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship-Ford did a bad job of selling the rib injury. Kept forgetting to clutch and sell the injury. I'm not into the Street Profits. Maybe its just because I dont like them as faces nor do I like them watered down from what they were in NXT. Match was good between these two nevertheless and USOs winning was the right result. Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Alexa Bliss for the WWE Raw Women's Championship–regardless of the storyline or the Bliss gimmick this was a good match. Bliss's gimmick is underrated. She has done the best she can to make the character get over, including the doll apparently. Bliss' reaction, to what will continue the feud, with the doll destruction was very good. She is quite the actress. I'm fine with this feud going if it keeps these two wrestling. Damian Priest (c) vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus in a Triple Threat match for the WWE United States Championship Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship-Becky Lynch is now wrestling different along with heel persona. Feels like an offshoot of what we see from Charlotte. Sasha forces the DQ which works out better for Belair so that she didn't suffer a second loss which was the only result that would have made sense with Becky's return. Banks comes back now putting Bianca in her shadow. Makes me think Bianca will move to RAW in the draft as a result, along with the Street Profits. Becky and Sasha will feud once again. Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. "The Demon" Finn Bálor in an Extreme Rules match for the WWE Universal Championship-Demon creates the mirage of a tougher opponent, add Extreme Rules and thats the match made tonight as a buffer until Reigns goes after Brock Lesnar. Roman masks up while fighting in the crowd. Demon gets a second wind. The top rope breaks and Roman takes advantage to retain. It was planned that rigged the ropes.
