“Your vote counts, you can make a difference.” That’s the message the Global Chair of Democrats Abroad, Julia Bryan, shared with us today. Hispanic Caucus Chair Amerika Garcia Grewal in Fiji and Vice-Chair Jose Miguel Madrigal in Costa Rica had the chance to catch up with Julia and talked about maintaining the energy from the 2018 midterm elections. DA is a very blue constituency, but our biggest challenge is letting Americans Abroad know how they can vote. Julia is excited about 2020. She’s inspired by the difference that we make and wants to apply that in other places. It’s thrilling to see your work pay off. All Americans living outside the United States are encouraged to register with Democrats Abroad and participate in 2020’s Global Presidential Primary, which runs from March 3 to March 10, 2020 at hundreds of voting centers around the world. Voters can participate in the GPP with DA and still vote absentee in their local and state elections via absentee ballot.
