For their 2019-2020 seasons, Actors Theatre and StageOne Family Theatre have both included productions that feature young athletes facing and overcoming personal challenges through sports. Why have these two companies decided to tackle these topics now? How does sport act as a lens through which to dramatize the lives of young people?
