Also, don’t forget to Vote!⠀⠀MUD stands for Money Undermining Democracy. The deck comes with Power Cards, Voter Cards, and of course Scandal Cards. Everything needed to twist and win an election! Players starts with 7 cards and on each turn plays 3 at a time. The goal is to get four Voters in all four regions of the Voter Map. When a Power Card is played, a Scandal card is picked up by the player. Just like in life, there are consequences to a Power play. You can trade cards with another player and even join forces against the other players. Anything to win! ⠀⠀You can be as corrupt or clean as you want. We all went pretty corrupt except for one player, and they actually won the game! MUD requires strategy and quick thinking. Game play will take at least 35-45 mins, maybe a little longer if you are teaching a new player. Since we are still waiting for Rachel to come back from the Kumite Tournament, we thought we would make it a little interesting with just three players. If @theonwalls , @glow_getter94 or I lost a Red Flag round we had to pick up and do what the Choosin card states. Link in Bio.⠀⠀The game comes with instructions, “Allenge” cards, and a die. Shuffle the cards and place face down on table. The person with the loudest natural laugh goes first. The player guesses a number from 1-6 and rolls the die. If the number is wrong the next player goes. If guess is correct, the player draws an “Allenge” Card and attempts to complete the challenge. Some cards are timed so there may be two or more players doing timed challenges at once. Once the challenge is complete the player keeps the card as a point! First to 7 wins in a group of four. ⠀⠀We changed the rule a bit as we played and if we guessed wrong then a card was drawn. We wanted to make sure we played as much as we could. There were a couple of times when two players had a challenge going on at the same time. Small chaos made the game more fun! There is limited set up and so easy to jump in and start playing! I like that some of the cards even have illustrations of an action you might choose on the card. You can bring this game out on any game night. Episode 43: Best of Cards with E&R

This week we play Brilliant or BS? by Black Creator Kimelia Weathers Smith. I’m glad I finally got this deck! Who doesn’t love trivia! Follow them on Instagram @brilliantorbs.⠀Short How To: Each player receives an A, B, C answer cards, and paper for someone to take score. The Judge starts off by reading the Trivia card and Answers (not revealing the correct one yet) to the other players. The other players will place their answer face down and plead their case as to why they would know the answer to the Judge. Judge will hand out a BS and Brilliant card as appropriate and the correct answer revealed. ⠀This game was super fun! It also reminded me how long it’s been since high school, but interesting nonetheless. We love trivia games and this can be played with the family. Even if you don’t know the answer, you have a chance to plead your case to trick the Judge. This can take place of your usual bar trivia night, too! This week we play New Phone, Who Dis? Short How To: Each player gets 7 reply cards. The oldest player starts as Judge. Judge draws Inbox card and reads aloud. Players will then choose and give their funniest Reply card. Judge will read Reply cards aloud and determination the funniest. The winner now becomes the Judge. This game is to set up and play. There are plenty of Inbox and Reply cards to keep the game going for a while, and makes it a great game for big groups.
