We watch in the story as her past seems to make sense as it pushes her closer to God's design and intention for her life. Make no mistake, it wasn't through her design, effort, or manipulation, but beautifully revealed through the strong arm of Boaz.

Ruth's journey in so many ways mirrors ours. From pagan to righteous, from rejected to accepted, from darkness to light. But her journey in God was not without pain and proving.
