Over the past few years, several friends and I have discussed the need to promote music from Western Kentucky. We're fortunate to have a wide variety of talents representing the area and our website, www.countyrootscollective.com, will showcase some of these folks covering all types of genres - from Bluegrass, to Country, to Rock-n-roll, and Rhythm and Blues. The website features studio recordings, live performances, and information about upcoming events. This podcast gives some of these artists the opportunity to share their experiences, influences, and insights into the music they preform. The content will not be solely focused on local music, but will cover a broad spectrum of topics appealing to any music lover.
