Forensic InService discusses the application of psychiatric, psychological, and social work evidence-based practice to matters of assessment and treatment, law, corrections, crime, and delinquency. We examine such concerns as the insanity defense, the high incarceration rate of individuals with mental illness, encounters with law enforcement, and the community management of sex offenders, as well as such macro concerns as the availability of treatment services, public perceptions of people with mental illness, and concerns related to social justice.
