About

In recognition of the sesquicentennial of the American Civil War, I am podcasting two audio books, one completed and one in production. The completed audio book is ''A Life of General Robert E Lee''by John Eston Cooke. the audio book in production is ''Personal Memoirs of US Grant'', an autobiography by Gen. Grant. Both books were originally published shortly after the American Civil War. I believe that a historian of that great war will find these two views by the opposing generals interesting and of value.
