As a new decade dawns, we humans awake to find ourselves living on a planet overrun with hogs in politics and pop culture. Hog Planet is a podcast in which these hogs are tagged, weighed, and graded. Hosted by Dan Spaventa (@spaventacular) and Sam Louis (@wagstank) each episode will focus on a different hog spotted rolling about in the muddy earth of the daily news cycle. Some are kindly and intelligent, some are boisterous, aggressive and foul-odored, and some are all of the above. It’s up to us to find a way to make sense of these curious beasts as our planet continues to hurtle around the sun.
