About

Including Animals is a podcast about ethical veganism in a fucked up world. Featuring interviews with radical activists, thinkers, writers and others who include non-human animals in their anti-oppression framework, our conversations refuse to leave animals behind in of our collective work towards radical liberation and justice. Including Animals demands that listeners recognize that the exploitation and domination of non-human animals must be brought to an end, while understanding how white-dominant vegan culture too often ignores the root causes of industrial animal exploitation and suffering -- capitalism and white supremacy. The duel challenges of fighting for animals in left spaces while rejecting a singular focus of animal liberation requires an analysis of the relationship between these systems and the commonalities of victims of capitalist exploitation.
