About

Domestic violence (also known as intimate partner abuse) is a major social problem worldwide. The Association of Domestic Violence Intervention Providers (ADVIP) is an international coalition of social science researchers and front-line intervention providers dedicated to evidence-based practice. ADVIP members share news and information about intimate partner violence policy and intervention, and our website provides, at no cost, up-to-date, scholarly research papers on the causes, characteristics, consequences, assessment and treatment of intimate partner abuse. In this podcast series, ADVIP members and invited guests talk about the latest domestic violence research, and the most promising evidence-based interventions, in a common effort to hold perpetrators accountable, keep victims safe, and help heal and rebuild families. Additional intervention programs are discussed in the full podcast series available to ADVIP members. For more information, please visit https://www.domesticviolenceintervention.net.
