Melting Plot is an actual play RPG podcast where we play as a randomly selected group of characters from among popular movie, TV, or video game franchises. We put those characters into a catastrophic scenario to see how they handle life at the end of the world. Each season features a brand new story with new characters - which are determined by rolling from a list which includes characters from movies like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, the Matrix, and Aliens - video games like Mario, the Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and Halo - and TV shows such as Stranger Things, the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, the X-Files, and Battlestar Galactica. We play each season until the characters survive the catastrophe or die trying. All music was written and produced by Zachary James Kolkman.
