Fight Club

there is a delay in releasing fight club as I'm sure you can see. Since we couldn't get it together enough I looked trough the closet and found an old recording we did when we first thought of this podcast. So Fight Club will be coming in August, but today we're reviewing 1998's Mercury Rising. The story follows the efforts of a tortured, drug addicted FBI agent trying to save an autistic child from other agents of shadow departments operating within the U.S. government.

Today James and I review 1997's best actress nominee Wings of the Dove. In the end we got more out of this than either of us expected since there was so little in the movie to talk about in the first place. Best to say that in the end the best thing we got out of this was the next movie we get to watch.

Training Day

In our first episode we go over how we pick movies, and then pick one. Shakespeare in Love was a box office smash and with good reason. I loved this movie for the wrong reasons and James was ready to bolt before we even watched it. I used the old microphone on this one so we hope you can manage the sound quality. We upgrade our equipment in the 4th episode
