SCFC is back as Sean and Jake sat down to talk about the "MLS is Back" tournament in Orlando and their initial impressions of the event in Orlando. They talked about Real Salt Lake's opener in Group D on Sunday as they take on the Colorado Rapids and the wild, incomprehensible way that RSL was drawn into a group with the Rapids and Sporting Kansas City...hint - it wasn't random. The guys also picked their group winners for the tournament and what they expect to happen during the group stage of the World Cup-style tournament as Major League Soccer seeks to get their season back on track. The podcast wrapped up with a check in on the NWSL Challenge Cup as the Utah Royals FC have played host to their fellow league members. Sean and Jake picked their favorites in the tournament and debate if North Carolina will be derailed at all on their way to winning the tournament.

Sean and Jake kicked off this week's show talking about the 0-0 season-opening draw at Orlando City SC for Real Salt Lake and the takeaways both had. Episode 25 of Salt City FC began with Jake Hatch and Sean Walker's thoughts about the 2-0 loss Real Salt Lake took at home on Saturday against league-leading LAFC. The guys talked about the outcomes of the result before turning their attention to the Rocky Mountain Cup rivalry showdown against the Colorado Rapids this Saturday. Post-training comments from RSL defender Nedum Onuoha were also played as part of the preview. (10:11) In the second segment, Sean and Jake talked about the nice run of form that the Utah Royals FC have enjoyed as they look towards an international break before the stretch run of their season arrives while also examining what's going on with the Real Monarchs SLC (16:08) In the third segment, the guys talked about the news of St. Louis becoming the 28th market to receive an MLS franchise before also talking about the latest issue for Inter Miami CF and a quick look at the English Premier League standings. Sean and Jake are back with another edition of Salt City FC as they react to the news of Real Salt Lake terminating the contract of Mike Petke as head coach and installing Freddy Juarez as the interim coach for the remainder of the 2019 season.  The guys then turned their attention to the weekend for the Utah Royals FC and Real Monarchs SLC as they both picked up victories on the weekend before talking about the latest news with U.S. Soccer hiring a Women's National Team hiring a general manager, what going on in Major League Soccer and the opening weekend of the 2019-20 English Premier League campaign. Finally, the podcast wrapped up with Added Time, where Jake talked about high profile move that's been reported for Inter Miami CF while Sean talked about a new clean look for Leicester City.
