About

Welcome to Six Count, bringing you the jazz and swing scene from the Capital Region of New York. This show is hosted and produced by Xara Wilde, the House Jazz Dancer for an Albany-based speakeasy. The podcast is internationally-syndicated via Giants of Jazz Radio, a station based in Lancashire, England. Episodes broadcast on Wednesdays and Sundays at 11:30 a.m. EST (4:30 p.m. UK time). Six Count is an independent, listener-supported initiative. The series launched in the fall of 2019 to help promote local music and preserve jazz history.
