Hi, I’m Michael McLean. I’ve been a songwriter and a storyteller for over five decades and if I’ve learned anything, it’s this: SOMETIMES A SONG CAN TEACH US THE TRUTH THE ONLY WAY OUR HEARTS CAN HEAR IT. This Songwriter Sunday School podcast is a way for me to share the stories behind the songs that have been the guideposts of my life. With each podcast episode, I’m hoping to find new friends who’ve never heard any of the songs on my 40+ albums AND to reach out to the wonderful friends who’ve been familiar with the songs for years. Now I can share with them the lessons my songs have taught me -- when they were written originally and what they are teaching me now. I’m excited to share these songs and stories, but truth be told, I’m more excited about making a connection with you. Because I really believe that life gives everyone the songs that our hearts need to listen to.
