Theory Heads Podcast is a project that looks to provide community activist, educators, graduate students, and academics with a platform to understand how some of the preeminent critical scholars in education, sociology, and various others fields connect hip hop culture/music to their research/theory. The podcast will be an semi-structured format that will elucidate the complex and rich connections of hip hop and educational theory. Our aim is to not only make theory more accessible but also these dope scholars and their work. Our focus will be to talk about the music and culture that we love so much and to learn and debate about the illest MCs, theories, and authors.
