I thought ceremonial cacao was a fad, a new way of marketing chocolate, a trend that would bloom and fade. Until I participated in a life changing cacao ceremony, which helped me shift long held patterns of relating that were holding me back. Fast forward to earlier this year, when I met the fellow fairy and cacao practitioner Laura Durban of @kakaozauber for a shamanic drum building workshop. Fueled by this real life connection, we decided record a conversation about our personal stories with mama cacao, and why it's way more than unsweetened hot cocoa.
