On today’s episode Vala, Ashley, and I will be discussing what life looks like for a first lady before and during her time in the white house in Becoming by Michelle Obama. This one’s got heart, parenting tips, and a president who knows what the fuck he’s doing. The first half will be a general book review, but the second half we’ll get into the dramatic moments of the book, so if you haven’t read and don’t want spoilers, listen to the first half only. An autobiographical book by one of the most influential women in America deserves to be paired with a bottle of wine made by one of the most influential female winemakers of all time. Her name is Elisabetta Foradori, and I want to be her when I grow up.
