Most pro gamers are sponsored by some company or eSports team. In the past year, a handful of players are actually sponsored by other players. R/Kappa is a subreddit for those that enjoy fighting game streams, and in the past year, they've sponsored players from around the world to carry the Kappa flag. Subbreddit moderator and team manager, Dr. Mike Gomez, explains how he took over operations and was able to get some of the best players in the world to play for Team Kappa.
