Ivy Tech is partnering with DigArc to improve the quality of our curriculum and catalog management system. The improvements should result in better integration between these two tools (e.g. you’ll be able to click on class numbers/names in the curriculum to link directly to the course outline of record), better integration with existing tools like Banner and our Degree Audit tool, and more transparency for faculty and staff into the curriculum approval processes at the College. The new tool, which is scheduled to launch in Feb 2022, will replace the Google Docs/Drive tools used today as well as the internal approval process used following curriculum committee meetings. This week’s panel will share how this tool implementation is going and what changes you can expect.
