November’s Dante’s Old South is Coming in Full Force with Guests: Lee Herrick (www.leeherrick.com) is a poet and professor, born in South Korea, adopted to the United States, now living in Fresno, California. He is the author of three books of poems (This Many Miles from Desire, Gardening Secrets of the Dead, and Scar and Flower) and co-editor of a poetry anthology, The World I Leave You: Asian American Poets on Faith and Spirit, all of which you can find anywhere books are sold online. Dr. Cecilia Aragon (www.ceciliaaragonauthor.com) is an author, airshow pilot, and professor at the University of Washington in Seattle. But she grew up a timid daughter of immigrants with major phobias. Her new memoir, Flying Free: My Victory over Fear to Become the First Latina Pilot on the US Aerobatic Team, tells how she used math to go from fearful child to champion pilot.
