Picking up where she left off at the end of episode 19, Sallie tells her healing journey from the time she was introduced to Sally Fallon's Nourishing Traditions all the way up to the present. Sallie has been on a variety of real food protocols in order to try to heal her leaky gut, digestive issues, and autoimmune issues - including, nourishing traditions, paleo, primal, keto, GAPS, low oxalate, and carnivore! Although Sallie was asymptomatic for 5 years, giving birth initiated a relapse in her autoimmune issues. She talks about all the challenges she has faced such as hyponatremia, anxiety and depression, panic attacks, oxalate "dumping," and more... currently she is experimenting with a mostly animal-based diet, limiting EMF exposure, as well as mindset.
