School board meetings are even more insufferable now as white people are showing up in droves worried that someone is telling their children about the experience of other people and the systemic reasons why those experiences are different from theirs.But ultimately, the debate over critical race theory raises an obvious questions for the left: what should schools look like when they are governed by a socialist society? How do we democratize the education system? Can we center the Paolo Friere's "dialogical" student-led approach?
