Compassion Meditation We all need to show a little more compassion sometimes. We ALL can take things personal that REALLY had nothing to do with us. We are human. . However, with compassion meditation, you take control and your power back within the situation. You gain control again on how YOU want to feel and not how someone has MADE you feel . This has helped me in a lot of situations where I might have been attacked by someone because of how they were feeling - but it had nothing to do with me. However, they took their feelings out on me - emotionally dumping - until I would take on the 'vibe' of the situation This meditation helps to clear your feelings and center yourself - I created a phrase that I repeat several times until I can feel my body come to ease. I try to do this by walking away and finding a quiet place, but most of the time I will do it in the moment (while looking the person in the eyes) as a way to quickly calm myself Our Affirmation for today will simply be: I am at peace. I am protected. I am calm. I am free of pain and sorrow. So, we are going to (((Inhale, exhale))) . I am at peace. I am protected. I am calm. I am free of pain and sorrow. .
