Jeff brings to life how leadership plays a key role in the art of leading a motorcycle group ride.  And how the examples from that leadership role can be used in business organizations. "As a leader, you need to have a goal of where you want to end, you need to set the expectations, like one of the expectations that you would set on a group (ride), when we get to the goal. We're going to ride back as a group or you're on your own, as an example. You want to set those expectations that everyone has. What is the desired performance that I would like to see from you? And then the good leader has to pay attention to what's going on. And I think that the last and the most important thing, the good leader needs to understand how to use the people best for everyone's benefit, not just for that person's benefit, but how is that going to affect everyone else. How is it going to make it better for everyone involved?"   Other episodes we would encourage you to listen to as well include Increasing Empathy and Consequential Thinking. In each episode, Jeff and Eric will talk about what emotional intelligence, or understanding your emotions, can do for you in your daily and work life.
