What is happening in Bardstown, Kentucky? That's the question you and I will be asking throughout this five part series, Bardstown Mysteries. In Part One, we talk about the strange disappearance of Crystal Rogers, which police publicly state they believe is a homicide case. Her boyfriend, Brooks Houck was the last person to see her. They were at the family farm on the night she disappeared, July 3rd, 2015. Many people speculate, including Crystal's mother, Sherry Ballard, that Crystal never left the farm this night. We'll get a chance to listen to not only Brooks' interrogation, but also his brother, Nick's. Nick Houck was a Bardstown police officer who was ultimately fired for interfering with the investigation of Crystal Roger's, his brother's missing girlfriend. About a year after Crystal's disappearance, her father, Tommy Ballard was shot. He was described as Crystal's "lead investigator". Did he know too much? Welcome to Let's Talk Crime.
