DBS Bank is constructive on emerging market equities, with emphasis on Asia excluding-Japan; driven by recovery in corporate earnings outlook, secular trends on domestic consumption, and supportive valuations. In an interview with Mint’s Nasrin Sultana, Hou Wey Fook, Chief Investment Officer, DBS Bank said Asian equities offer stronger economic growth relative to most parts of the world. This backdrop will be supportive of compelling corporate earnings growth and rerating in investment outlook.
