On this episode they had Journalist Laurie Garret who is knowledgeable and experienced in covering all things Public Health and in this episode, focused in on the response by the US and concerns she has going forward. This might be one to listen to first then return to ours, but, you are the boss of you and I am not going to tell you what to do! But please, wash your hands!! In our segment, we focus in on the political-economic-cultural landscape that is present in various countries, how this will effect the spread and response to this epidemic, the real role that the markets and supply chain management plays (Just in Time production methods) and the fragility of our economies. Matty has a background in Medical Anth but very little in epidemiology or Public Health studies, so he cobbles together what he knows and then we shifted into our standard anti-racism political economic inspired anthropological analysis’.
