It was great to be back in the studio for the first news based episode of 2021. We were hoping for more positive news stories to report unfortunately with the developing story coming out of Hong Kong regarding crew requirements and medical observations and the dire state of the European market this was not the case. Our headline story of the week is the narrow body market and their proposed use on long haul sectors. Prepare to see plenty more A321’s flying around the globe in the near future. If you have any views about this sector please get involved in the conversation, we want to hear your views.  The South African market has been set back by the Lockdown retractions and the curfew has created havoc with regards to passenger and crew scheduling. A huge congratulations to Airlink as they become the second largest airline in Africa, a remarkable achievement.  We also touch on Emirates, Qatar, Lufthansa, aircraft deliveries and IATA’s approach or lack there of to our crippled industry.  If you would like to schedule a one on one zoom call with the podcast host please feel free to book a 30 minute appointment at an available slot through the following link:  https://woven.com/c/bryan_roseveare/meet-with-me3 You can view all the content on my webpage www.bryanroseveare.com , Brett has also launched his own site with an emphasis on managing emotions and disrupting your life www.brettmarkpreston.com   Get in touch and join the discussion on our YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/c/BryanAirPodcast Or connect with any of the crew on LinkedIn Bryan Roseveare: linkedin.com/in/bryanroseveare Brett Preston: linkedin.com/in/brettmpreston Ryan Parrock: linkedin.com/in/ryanparrock If you would like to support the podcast you can do so through Patreon, your support in this regard will be greatly appreciated (Thank You). https://www.patreon.com/bryanair
