When Christine Edwards stepped into the publishing industry, she worked as a buyer at Waldenbooks. After a season as a book buyer at Borders, the mega-bookstore chain that once competed with Barnes & Noble, Christine moved to the publishing side, taking a sales job at the Crown Publishing Group at Penguin Random House.
