Testosterone. Even the mention of the word conjures up images both good and bad: From the chisel-jawed, muscled-up action hero to the dude with the pickup truck doing donuts in the parking lot at 3 in the morning.It's such a mythical hormone. We ascribe to it virtually everything that has to do with masculinity. It makes men strong, hairy…and virile, but actually, everyone has testosterone coursing through their blood stream. Yes, it is linked with physical markers of masculinity, like low body fat and higher muscle mass on average, but what about the sexual and psychological stuff.
