Speak to any woman in India and she will have a story about public spaces. Public spaces are just not safe for women in India, even conceptually. How do we engage with them? What do they stop us from doing? What does the law do to help us? What can we do to make them safer without putting more rules on women? In this episode, Ameya explores all of this with activists Anju Pandey and Shilpa Phadke, World Bank economist Girija Borker, and human rights lawyer Urmila Pullat.  You can follow us and leave us feedback on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @expresspodcasts, or send us an email at podcasts@indianexpress.com.
