Former Veteran & Seattle Seahawks long snapper, Nate Boyer joins Host Shannon Leigh on this week's podcast for an amazing segment! Nate shares his personal story, including serving time as a United States Army Green Beret & walking on to the University of Texas football program having never played football. His inspirational story then leads to becoming a Seattle Seahawk, as well as more recently playing an integral role in the NFL's "kneeling movement," initially spurred by Colin Kaepernick. Nate's is a true American tale of overcoming the odds, putting yourself outside of your comfort zone and working hard to achieve any goal you set for yourself. Therefore, we deem him Playing With Balls Man of the Year!
