Flo Gabriel (Germany) was the first person host Joe Glasgow met during his journey on El Camino de Santiago. The two pilgrims met on the train ride to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, the starting point for The French Way. Flo opens up about his difficulties at home in Germany dealing with depression and alcohol abuse. He admits that looking forward to walking the Camino was at some point one of his only hopes.
