He was selected in the 4th round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins. After 6 seasons and a Pro Bowl appearance with the Redskins, Kirk signed a contract with the Minnesota Vikings. In 2018, Kirk set the Vikings record for passing completions with 425 and has thrown for over 4,000 yards passing in 5 consecutive seasons from 2015-2018.
