This year, the American West has been ravaged by wildfires. These uncontained blazes start with a single spark and burn without regard to anything in their paths. Isn’t it odd that James would liken something so small and insignificant as the tongue to an out-of-control forest fire? However, when we think about it, maybe what James says isn’t that much of a stretch. We have all been in situations where we were hurt by words, or our words have hurt someone else.
