Scarlet has been given to a Lunar aristocrat family and their young son has been using her to practice his Lunar gift. After several days of being chained to the ground and tortured, Scarlet is summoned to appear before the Queen herself.While Sybil and the Queen question Scarlet for information about Cinder and her whereabouts, a crowd of blood-thirsty and eclectically dressed Lunars watch.
