After a warm welcome from Dr Haile Debas, chair of the UC Global Health Institute, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong of UCLA gives a fascinating and accessible talk on what he describes as the global burden of cancer, especially felt in low income countries, and shares new research showing how advanced technology can be used to boost the immune system.
