When we experience a sudden loss such as the death of a loved one, or a grave reduction in finances, or any other catestrophic change in our normal, familiar circumstances, we will endure the pain of grief.Have you experienced sudden loss?  We know that you, as the grieving one, are affected deeply by the change in your life, but those who are closely attached to you are also affected in some way.  Your grief washes over all of those around you, modifying each of your relationships.  In the case involving the sudden death of a spouse, child, partner, parent, friend, leader, or anyone whom you love and respect, you may feel like you're in a whirlpool and can't swim out to safe waters.  Today, Dr. Joan will discuss three thoughts which might help you move through the cycles of grief.  Please listen to her specific suggestions and put these three thoughts to work for your own well-being.  As you get back on dry land, so to speak, you may realize that your relationships have been strengthened as well.A portion of each program is devoted to Dr. Joan's published stories about human disputes. Currently, she reading from her debut novel Gra Im Thu! I Love You!  The story is about two Irish families who intermarry, even though they are poles apart in the areas of religion and politics.
