Kate Stohr is co-founder and program director of Architecture for Humanity. As she explains in this podcast, she worked with Herreast Harrison's Guardians Institute, a New Orleans-based organization whose mission is to uphold the distinct cultural traditions of New Orleans, promote literacy and encourage physical well-being, and architect Jens Holm of the Rockwell Group to create a new home for the Institute after Katrina. Kate also speaks to her experience in the disaster's aftermath in rebuilding homes in New Orleans and Biloxi.
