Glam pop/rocker Ariel Beesley has been called “the Blondie of the new millennium”. In addition to racking up streams of over 500,000 on tracks like Slower Than Usual she’s also created U Start Here - a non-profit devoted to helping survivors of sexual assault. Launched at a Songbirds event in August 2020 this organization provides valuable resources through their expert sessions. Ariel joined us to talk about U Start Here, knowing when to take time out, her new single So Baby and wanting her lyrics to 'punch people in the face'.
